Staff - Studio Assistants

We believe art is a basic human instinct that can be developed further with specialized instruction. Our goal is to encourage students of any age and aptitude to their own artistic confidence through fine art instruction. We teach solid fine art techniques that enable students to become more fluent in communicating their own visual ideas through art. Click on one of the assistant's names to learn more!

I love art! It’s a completely worry free activity and there's no right or wrong way to do it (unlike most things in life). Its my way to escape. For a while though, I felt a little uninspired and a bit lost in the art world, untill last summer when I found out about Sascha's great art school I joined her Pre-Studio classes and I’ve had a great time exploring all the different medias and techniques I never knew about before. Along with other small school contests, I recently won the Metro Bilbord contest (you may have seen it around town). Wow! I cant believe it! My own billboard! Sascha has a great program going at Fine Art Starts school and I’ve had a great time so far. I also hope to continue taking classes and helping out in the studio.

Ever since I can remember I’ve been interested in art.  My skills were noticeable at age 3, but were even more evident by age 8, so my mom enrolled me into classes at Fine Art Starts.  I took classes for a couple years, left and returned in the summer of 2006 to continue doing the one thing that makes me most happy.  I am now 18 and a recent graduate of Clackamas High School.  As well as continuing to produce art of my own, I’ve been a Studio Assistant since December.  I enjoy working with children and seeing the happiness on their faces that art brings them.  I hope to continue to bring joy to the world through the eyes of art.
