With multiple class options, and a multitude of art media, we'll keep your Art Elves creative and engaged over their break from school.

Art Elves Collage Creations!
Dec 22nd & 23rd 9am-1pm Grades 3-5 & 6-8 Students will learn about bringing together multiple techniques and supplies to create one or two pieces of art in this two-day workshop. We’ll be using paint, colored pencils, posca pens, and collage. We'll prep our artwork for display before wrapping it up just in time to go under the tree! Add both days to your cart for a $5 discount! Animated Sculpture Workshop
Dec 29-31 9am-1pm Grades 3-5 & 6-8 Sign up for one or all three days! Over the course of this three-day sculpture workshop, students will learn how to build an armature to create the skeleton of their sculptures. They'll use wire, paper, masking tape, and non-ceramic clays to create a figure of their design, and then add bold colors and details with paint. Over the three-day session, they'll also work together as a group to create a single small stop-motion animation project with an armature and components made by the group! |

Tiny Pottery Throw-down!
Jan 2nd 9am-1pm Grades 3-5 & 6-8 Everything's cooler when it's tiny! Students will throw tiny pottery on miniature pottery wheels! Taking turns in pairs, students will work on their teamwork and communication skills as one team-mate helps control their wheel-speed and water, and the other team-mate forms a tiny piece of pottery with tiny tools! We’ll warm up with free-sculpt time to get our BIG clay-squishes out of the way, and then get down to business! Each student will sculpt a small tray to display their mini pieces on, and can choose up to three of their wheel pieces to be fired and picked up at a later date. Please keep in mind that because clay pieces need to dry and be fired in a kiln, students will not go home with their creations at the end of the day. Parents will be notified when pieces are ready for pickup. All artwork must be picked up within 1 month after it is available, or it will be recycled. |
