These fun courses were created for students who love to draw, paint, sculpt and create!
Over the school year, students are introduced to fine art skills, material handling, art history, cultural projects, problem-solving skills, and art appreciation...but most of all the process of making art! Draw, paint and sculpt! Tuition includes all fine art materials, clay firings, small group instruction, and a special semi-formal Art Show at the end of the course on Saturday, December 16th. |

This may be taken in addition to weekly after-school classes -or- as a single once-per-week class. It's also a great option for students who attend schools without a Fine Art Starts program option, and for home schoolers.
Clackamas Academy of Industrial Sciences Character Design & Illustration for Grades 6-12 Mondays 3:30-4:30pm REGISTRATION OPEN! 6th-12th Click here to register Workshops and Parents' Night/Morning Out! Need a date night? Spa morning? Time to shop for the holidays, wrap gifts without kids afoot (or using the iPad as a babysitter)?! How about some time to just talk without interruptions? You deserve it! Send them for any of these cool workshops. LIMITED SPACE. Parents' Night Out October 28th 5-8pm Perfect for a parents' date night, Halloween shindig or a night at Powell's pouring over books sans children. Participants will have access to a short art project, eat some pizza (included), play some group games and watch a G-rated movie (or keep making art if they prefer). OPTIONAL: Wear a Halloween costume if you'd like! Please, no costumes that are culturally appropriated, inappropriate, bloody or overtly frightening. Absolutely no knives, guns or weapons. PLEASE BRING: a blanket, pillow, stuffy (if you'd like), and water bottle. Space is limited!
