Fine art classes after school and summer camps for kids, children and teens in Portland, Oregon grades K-12. Fine art classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, clay, pottery, cartooning, comics, manga, graphic novels, mixed media and printmaking.

2024-2025 After-School Art Program for K-5 Students

These fun courses were created for K-5 students who love to draw, paint, sculpt and create!
Over the school year, students are introduced to fine art skills, material handling, art history, cultural projects, problem-solving skills, and art appreciation...but most of all the process of making art!
Tuition includes all fine art materials, clay firings, small group instruction, and two special Art Shows during the school year. Financial Assistance Application here.

All classes listed below are held in public, private and charter schools, and listed in alphabetical order by school name. These are all K-5 classes unless otherwise noted. Students are grouped by K-2 and 3-5th depending on the participants.

Semi-Independent studies challenge you in a positive way, whether you're a new or continuing student. Exciting, guided assignents with an emphasis on unique interpretation and personal expression supported by technical demonstrations and time to practice. Explore many medias while you balance your own ideas with traditional and exploratory fine art techniques with options in Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media and Digital Art.
