Custom Private Events
Are you looking to learn a new skill or technique in art? Whether it's clay, paint, or something else, we can book custom classes in most art media at our studio in Raleigh Hills. We require a minimum of three registrations for any class, and many classes start at just $20 per person, per hour. While there's no need for a special event to create your class, we do also schedule for birthday parties, and team bonding events for local companies.
While we don't have a minimum lead time for booking, we publish our regular class schedules up to two months in advance in some cases. We appreciate as much of an advance notice as you can provide so that we can ensure the day you would like to book is available, and to pair you with an experienced instructor.

Birthday Parties

Come have an art-centered birthday party at the studio! We are now booking birthday parties for students Kindergarten age to adults! Each party is tailored to fit your needs. We have a small kitchenette and can even host your snacking and cake time before or after your planned art segment. Pottery Wheel Party (Max 4 students) $74 per person, 2 hours. For students 12 and older. This party follows the same format as our "Wheel Curious" class. We'll fire one piece per person. Students will choose a color for their single piece from our studio palette of dipping glazes. Additional pieces fired and glazed for $10 each. Pottery Painting Party (Max 8 students) $35-$55 per person depending on what you'd like to paint, 90-minute session. Must be booked 2 or more weeks in advance so we can prepare your chosen pottery. Handbuilding Clay Party (Max 8 students) $55 per person, 2 hours. Choose or propose a finished object you'd like to make, and we'll guide you through the process to make your clay dreams come true. Traditional media parties take place in our upstairs studio with a max of 10 students. Watercolor or Acrylic Painting Party $48 per person, 2 hours. Choose a subject or theme, and our instructors will build a custom painting project just for your group based in fine art techniques. 2D Multi-Media Collage Party $48 per person, 2 hours. Create something totally new from old magazines and books, and add your own illustrations to create your multi-media masterpiece. Have movie stubs, theme park bracelets, or brochures from fun memories? Students are welcome and encouraged to bring any flat ephemera they've collected to incorporate into their artwork. |

Would you like to hold your next team-bonding event at Fine Art Starts? We can create a custom event for your team of up to 8 people for clay projects, and up to 10 people for traditional media.
