We are multi-generational friendly, and want to make sure everyone has a positive experience!  Please email us if you have a tween/teen who would like to join you in a pottery class so we can schedule you with a compatible group.

Interested in a family-style class?
Please email us and we'll schedule an accomodating time for everyone in your group (even if it isn't on the calendar below), subject to the Instructor's availability.

Our classes are unlike any other clay studio because of these key factors that make our studio a source for a positive learning experience:
  • Semi-private instruction (5 people or less per pottery wheel class)!!
  • 1-on-1 guidance with positive, top-notch instructors who love clay and have years of combined teaching experience
  • All materials are included.  Just show up!
  • Schedule-friendly!  Options to come back and glaze, continue practicing when you are able, or dive in with intent to classes that are several weeks long
  • Multi-generational classes offer a memorable and bonding experience for individuals, couples, families and groups

Types of Ceramic Studio Classes
  • Wheel Curious - This is an entry-level 1x class for beginners or for those who threw on the wheel years ago and need a refresher.  This is a 2-hour class.  This class includes firing 1 larger work, or 2 smaller ones.  Almost all of our Wheel Curious students come back to throw more in the 2.5 hour "Glaze & Throw" class, or to glaze their work during a 1-hour "Glazing Studio".
  • Glaze & Throw! - This is a 2.5 hour class people who've taken the "Wheel Curious" class and would like to glaze what they made, and then get back on the pottery wheel again for a semi-private lesson and guided practice time to continue to advance on the pottery wheel.  The cost covers all materials, semi-private instruction, glaze & firing for the first works, and then firing fees for 1 large work or 2 smaller new works.
  • Glazing Studio - This 1-hour class includes an introduction to glaze, and gives you many options from which to choose to glaze the work you made in "Wheel Curious" or the "Glaze & Throw!" class/es.  The cost covers the glazing for 1 large work or 2 smaller works with an additional $5 per any other additional pieces.
  • Family Sculpt - This 2-hour multi-generational class allows creative building and free sculpt followed by a step-by-step project with options, guided by an experienced instructor.  Tuition includes firing 1 larger work or 2 smaller works.  Additional $5 for any sculpted works above that.
  • Let's Throw! - This 4-week course was created for people who'd like to delve into pottery further.  Each of the four 2.5 hour classes will cover a deepening aspect of learning about the wheel, centering, creating various shapes, trimming and glazing.  More of these classes will be added to the upcoming August schedule.

August

Please check back.  The August schedule will be available in mid-July.

All Ages Family Sculpt is a great way to create alongside one another.  You'll have the chance to get your hands into clay, free-sculpt, and then follow along to make a project designed by one of our talented Instructors.  It'll be fun and appropriately challenging!

Semi-private class, so there's lots of individualized attention!
